About this treatment
A crown, often called a “cap”, is placed over a tooth to protect it and restore its strength and function. Crowns can be made from porcelain, ceramic or metal alloys depending on your needs.
What to expect

First appointment: the tooth is prepared and impressions are taken. A temporary crown may be fitted.

Second appointment: your permanent crown is fitted.
